Use & Care Instructions
Follow these simple tips to keep your GreenPan Essence cookware performing beautifully.
Before First Use
Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the cookware with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
Cooking
- Use low to medium heat for the best results.
- Add a small amount of butter or high-smoke-point cooking oil.
- Avoid aerosol sprays and spray oils, as they can leave a sticky residue that affects nonstick performance.
- Never leave an empty pan heating unattended.
- Match the pan to an appropriately sized burner.
- Use silicone, wood or nylon utensils to help preserve the coating.
- Do not cut food directly inside the cookware.
Oven & Stovetop Use
- Suitable for all stovetops, including induction.
- Oven-safe up to 160°C.
- Handles may become hot during extended cooking or oven use. Use oven mitts when necessary.
- Not suitable for microwave use.
Cleaning
- Allow the cookware to cool completely before washing.
- Clean with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth.
- Dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the coating.
- Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners or harsh scouring pads.
- For stubborn residue, soak the cookware in warm, soapy water before gently cleaning.
Storage
Place a pan protector between pieces when stacking to help prevent scratches and surface damage.
